In the Limited Time Event “Great Void Sea Battle, Imaginary Scramble - To the Surface, Nautilus!”, progress is made in the event by performing “Void Sea Surveys” on scannable areas on the map.
“Void Sea Surveys” are performed by consuming resources (“Dazzling Scales”, “Dazzling Fins”, and “Dazzling Sharp Tooth”) on scannable areas. Once scanned, the area will be unlocked.
As you continue your Void Sea Surveys, you may discover Void Sea Survey Quests. There are two types of Void Sea Survey Quests: “quests where enemies appear” and “quests where you can find treasure”. In “quests where enemies appear” you will do battle against a formidable opponent standing in the way of your Void Sea Survey, while you will be able to collect rewards in “quests where you can find treasure”.
In addition, when you clear any Void Sea Survey Quest or unlock scannable areas, you will earn Void Survey Points.
You must collect certain amounts of Void Survey Points to unlock the next Main Quest, so find your way out of the Void Sea by conducting Void Sea Surveys!
"Void Sea Scanner"
Areas you have "Already Scanned" will appear bright on the map, while "Unscanned Areas" will appear dark. Expend the resources shown on the left side of the screen ("Dazzling Scales", "Dazzling Fins", and "Dazzling Sharp Tooth") to use the Void Sea Scanner on scannable areas. Once scanned, the area will brighten.
The Void Sea Scanner can be used on unscanned areas bordering already scanned areas. However, it cannot be used on areas that border Enemy Shadows.
There are various Void Sea Scanners that will be unlocked as you continue through the Main Quest.
The size and shape of your scan will change depending upon which Scanner you use, so be sure to consider the placement of Ripples and Enemy Shadows as you scan the Void Sea and continue your Void Sea Survey.
* If you encounter an Enemy Shadow while using the Void Sea Scanner, the Void Sea Scanner will not be able to investigate further in that direction.
During this event, you will be able to "Call for Backup" once you have completed a certain quest.
When you use "Call for Backup", one Servant accompanying you will apply a special status effect to your Allies or Enemies during battle.
Resources ("Dazzling Scales", "Dazzling Fins", or "Dazzling Sharp Tooth") will be required to use "Call for Backup". The resources expended will change depending upon the Servant you select.
Please note that if you lose or withdraw from a battle after using "Call for Backup", the resources you expended will NOT be returned to you.
"Call for Backup" can be used during all Event Quests, and its effect applies to all allies (including support) until the end of the battle.
A "Recommended" icon will appear over a particularly effective "Call for Backup" for that quest. Make use of these!
* Servants selected as "Call for Backup" are not Support Servants. They will not fight in the battle. * "Call for Backup" can be used in consecutive battles, and resources ("Dazzling Scales", "Dazzling Fins", or "Dazzling Sharp Tooth") will be consumed each time the "Call for Backup" is in use.
You will unlock new quests and receive progress rewards as you reach certain total amounts of Void Survey Points.
You can check progress rewards on the "Void Survey Point Rewards" screen, viewable by pressing the "Event Rewards" button at the top right of the Terminal screen.
* Your total amount of Void Survey Points includes Void Survey Points earned as rewards for clearing Void Survey Quests as well as points earned when unlocking scannable areas.
Masters who have cleared all Main Quests of the Limited Time Event "Great Void Sea Battle, Imaginary Scramble - To the Surface, Nautilus!" and earned a minimum of 290,000 Void Survey Points will be eligible to challenge a High Difficulty "Challenge Quest".
The Challenge Quest will remain available for the duration of the event period even after being cleared. Enjoy challenging it as many times as you like with different Servants and Craft Essences.
* Quest clear rewards, dropped items, Master EXP, Mystic Code EXP, and Bond Points will only be rewarded for the first clear.

During the event period, in addition to Servants appearing in the Scenario, "Swimsuit Servants" and "Male Servants with Spiritron Dresses Added During Summer Events" will receive an "ATK Strength bonus" and an "Event Item Drop bonus" for Event Quests, as well as a "Bond Points Gained bonus" when completing quests!
"Male Servants with Spiritron Dresses Added During Summer Events" will receive their bonuses whether or not they have the Spiritron Dress equipped, but we recommend you enjoy the Void Sea scenery of this event by equipping Spiritron Dresses perfect for the beach!
